Natural Health
The health and weight loss industry in many ways today have become part of a money making machine.
Much of what is available on the market have been compromised and the health of buyers are not always considered important. There are many harmful synthetic supplements and products promoted as being healthy. Some of them are very subtle.
The purpose of this platform is to provide information to help you find your way through all the contradicting aspects.
I also want to encourage you to include God on your health journey when making decisions. He will direct you steps.
There are three levels to health and healing
Natural Health
Natural health is about stewardship and it is a preventative approach. It refers to specific actions to take care of the body.
Examples of these actions are; healthy eating, supplementation, exercise, sleep, rest and even healthy relationships.
This is health care.
After all, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” I Corinthians 6:19 NKJV
This indicates that we have a responsibility to look after our bodies. Even though it can play a significant role on one’s overall health the focus should never be on the things we can do to stay healthy. We still have to be reliant upon the Lord for our health. It is important that we include Him in the process and not rely on our own understanding.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5
Even though a natural health approach can be effective in preventing sickness and disease it also encourages and support the body’s natural ability to heal.
Medical Care
Medical care is more sick care than health care.
When people go to the doctor, it usually is because they are sick and want medication so that they can feel better. We especially see this when people are on chronic medication because the goal is not healing but only maintenance of the condition.
Pharmaceutical medication is mainly focused on symptomatic relief. It contains lists of harmful side effects that on the long term damages other parts of the body.
Now that being said, I also want to state the following; if it weren’t for natural health and the medical profession, half of the Christians would have died prematurely because of not ruling and reigning over sickness as God intended us to live.
The ultimate goal for the “sons of God” is to get out under the rule of pharmakeia and to start living in their inheritance which is Divine health.
Divine Health
There is a lack of understanding in the Body of Christ about true identity and what is included in our inheritance in Christ. Divine health and healing is our inheritance.
It is only in the last few years that we started to see again that more and more people are being raised from the dead and healed supernaturally from incurable diseases. This is happening because the truth of the Word is starting to become a revelation in people’s hearts.
Divine health is where you rely on God for your health and healing and it is based on your identity in Christ.
Health and healing are part of our inheritance in Christ and the purpose why God sent Jesus. He came to save and deliver us from the power of darkness and redeem as from the curse of the law. Sickness and disease are part of the curse of the law.
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),” Galatians 3:13 NKJV
“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.” I Peter 2:24 NKJV
Divine health says, ‘I look at Jesus for health and healing’.
It is time for us to mature and step into our “sonship” and take full ownership of our inheritance in the area of health. This will only happen through spiritual growth and revelation. Walking in Divine health is a growing process.
